Taking responsibility has become all the rage in New Jersey.
The two Seton Hall arsonists have finally admitted what the rest of us knew for six years.
They set the fire. They killed three and will get five years.
On Thursday, former West Long Branch councilman Joseph DeLisa admitted to accepting $1500 in bribes to facilitate contracting bids.
Chris Christie's Operation Big Rig already netted West Long Branch Mayor Paul Zambrano (photo). And former Middletown Township Member Raymond O'Grady got 43 months for accepting $8000 in bribes — a month for every $186 he took. At that rate, DeLisa should be out in 8 months and change.
No word on how the courts calculated the months in prison owed by the Seton Hall arsonists. But three lives should add up to more than 60 months apiece.
